Lissa 2006-2009

I saw my first chinchilla in a pet shop over 15 years ago and fell in love immediately.
 Pepe was a wilson white male and very mischeivous and his many antics were the reason I ended up getting hooked on these animals.
Having only had hamsters before it amazed me what a wonderful character he had and it wasn't long before I looked for a partner for him to be with.
I bought Doris,a 2 year old beige female and she and Pepe became very good friends.
Sadly Pepe died after a terrible accident.Heartbroken and worried about Doris who seemed lost without him,I went out and bought Bruce a year old beige male.
And so it began...

Doris gave birth to her first litter,triplets.One of which I kept and the others went to good homes.
I only bred Doris once more and kept another female from her next twin litter and then she retired with her two daughters to live a pampered life.
She died at the grand old age of 15 but her daughters are still with me today.

I now have over 50 chinchillas which I breed and show.
They are kept in a specially built outhouse which is heated in the winter and has aircon for the summer.
They are first and foremost my pets and are all handled daily and have plenty of toys and hammocks in decent sized cages.
I only sell privately and do not supply pet shops.
I ask a lot of question to potential new homes and expect to be asked lots in return.
I offer lifetime after care and love keeping in touch with the people who buy my chins as it is lovely to here how they are doing and see pictures of them as they grow.

This website is purely to introduce you to my chinchillas and a place to advertise any I have to sell. There are so many people setting up websites with details of how to care for chinchillas I really do not need to add to these.
I have added a links page to direct you to many forums and websites which will sell everything you could ever need if you are thinking of buying a chinchilla.
